Maker fee

A maker order typically posts to the order book and adds liquidity. When that order later gets filled, the trade is charged the maker fee rate for your level.

Taker fee

A taker order consumes liquidity from the order book. Market orders are commonly taker trades because they match instantly.

Where BNB helps

When the BNB fee payment option is enabled, eligible spot fees can be reduced by 25% compared with the standard maker/taker rate.
